Grants and Awards
Each spring the Department of Women's Studies holds competitions for writing awards and scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.Research grants for Faculty and PhD students are available from the Coca-Cola Foundation, and the Critical Difference for Women Program at the Ohio State University. The grants are administered by the Department of Women's Studies and the Coca-Cola Critical Difference for Women Research Grants Award Committee.

- The Robin Wiehm Award for an outstanding undergraduate paper written in a Women's Studies class.
- The Common Differences Award for outstanding undergraduate and graduate papers written about the perspectives, experiences, and contributions of women of color.
- The Joellen Thomas Award for an outstanding graduate or undergraduate paper about women and illness or women and disability.
- The Mildred Munday Scholarship for Women's Studies Majors with at least a Sophomore standing,excellence in scholarship, and commitment to Women's Studies.
- The Virginia Reynolds Book Award is presented to one graduating Women’s Studies major or minor who demonstrates outstanding service and commitment.
