Below you will find summaries of topics that Peer Power can present in your class, as well as supplementary materials that you may find useful. We are continually updating our reading lists, and we welcome your suggestions for inclusion of new material. We also offer a list of Power Point presentations available for classroom use.In addition, Peer Power has compiled resources to help teachers and students examine how gender and technology function in our society and to foster a better understanding of the impact of this phenomenon on our daily lives. Our gender and technology page offers resources to enrich Peer Power presentations, allowing students, teachers, and Peer Power presenters to further explore connections between gender and the new tools resulting from innovations in medical , information and industrial technology, as well as simple tools used in the home.

Relationship and Sexual Violence
This is a discussion of how many lives in the United States are affected by the fear and reality of sexual violence. The presentation focuses on how terms (e.g. "rape," "sexual harassment," "relationship violence") can be defined, and on how definitions of "consent" come into play. Homophobia
Regardless of our sexuality, homophobia affects all of our lives, given its relationship with gender-based expectations and assumptions.
